Malay Hymenoptera: addenda and corrections
This is an errata list by P. Cameron correcting printer’s errors in his 1902 paper “On the Hymenoptera collected by Mr. Robert Shelford at Sarawak, and on the Hymenoptera of the Sarawak Museum” (JSBRAS No. 37).
Summary
The document lists approximately twenty-five corrections spanning pages 30–138 of the original 1902 paper. The errors fall into several categories: typographical misspellings of morphological terms (e.g., “covered” for “curved,” “sharpened” for “shagreened,” “smoothy” for “smoky”), misspellings of taxonomic names (e.g., “Megiselens” for “Megischus,” “Brule” for “Brulle,” “acvenitini” for “acoenitini”), incorrect author abbreviations (“Fah.” for “Fab.”), and omissions of species names or subfamily designations that should have been included in the text (p. 123).
